Thomas' Birthday Bash!
Hey, youse guys remember Dreamworld? Well get this... they're back once again! And of course, as is the tradition, URIZEN must return to this hallowed ground, where our forces were first joined, in order to rock the house, destroy it, and force it to close once again.
This time it's going to be Thomas' birthday extravaganza as well, so you have no choice but to come! Plus, this will be the first full "proper" show in DFW that will feature our new lineup of stage friends. You know the types... robots, monsters, mutated conjoined twin creatures... the usual. It's only $10, so do Thomas a favor and come to this show instead of buying him a gun rack. I mean, the guy doesn't even own A gun, let alone MANY guns that would necessitate an entire rack. What's he going to do... with a gun rack?

New URIZEN Track: "The Lonely Resident" Thanksgiving is a time for merriment here at Urizen Headquarters, and in the spirit of giving thanks, we're giving you a, uh... new song, so you can, like, say thanks, I guess? Yes! It all makes sense!
"The Lonely Resident" is the first pseudo-finished track since last year's Universe EP, and we are excited to share it with you! But the catch is... that it will only be up for ONE WEEK! Oh Lordy!
As you can tell, the song is relative unfinished, completely unmixed, entirely unmastered, and a slight bit silly. So we're counting on YOUR feedback to tell us what you like, what you don't like, what gives you a mega-huge raging boner, and what makes you weep with the sorrow of a thousand orphaned children. So tell us! NOW! FEEDBACK FEEDBACK FEEDBACK! It's almost like you're writing the next Urizen album yourself!*
So head over to our MySpace page, crank up the speakers (it's rather quiet... unmastered, you see) and please leave a comment or send a message and let us know what you think before time runs out! Updated Audio/Video Section! So I was looking at the Audio/Video section the other day, and I thought to myself, "Man... there's not very much video in here. And like, no audio at all. Weak." So I decided to remedy that! So now, if you head over to the Audio/Video section, you'll find new-and-improved dedicated audio and video sections, chock full of goodies, including a 4-song ZIP file of MP3s that's absolutely FREE! What's New at Urizen Headquarters? As the end of the year fast approaches, I figured I should probably post an update on the ol’ Urizen Online so I can make sure the annual total is at least two. It’s been a busy year for us here at Urizen Headquarters Ltd. Intl. Co., but a good year, I would like to think. After releasing Universe late last year, we have been biding our time by playing shows and trying to figure out where the hell the music will take us next. Speaking of shows, we met a lot of great international bands and new friends this year when we shared the stage with such excellent acts as Eluveitie, Turisas, Ensiferum, Keep of Kalessin and more. Great bands and great people! In the absence of new music, all of us here at the Urizen Space Station have turned our creative juices towards other ventures, like video game programming, comic book creation, miniature robot toy design, rocket ship building, video making, short story writing, graphic design, haiku… and yes, even some music. You, the friends and fans, will soon have access to all of our artistic discharges in an all-inclusive, fun for the family webpage experience. Details on that monster coming very soon! Early next month, on Friday, November 7th, we will be taking part in Trip Fest 3 at the Curtain Club in Dallas. It’s going to be a cool, cool show with lots of experimental DFW bands and artist type folks, so come check it out. We’ll be playing a plethora of tunes that we rarely ever play… and one we’ve NEVER played live! So come check it out, because it will very likely be our last show of 2008!

Finally... Welcome to the New UrizenOnline.com! At long last, I have finally finished the new website. I hope you will enjoy the new, clean look of Urizen Online, boss, 'cause I'm gonna! In addition to the new look, there are a few new features to be exploited, with more on the way. There's the new FAQ section, where you can find the answers to all of life's most pressing questions. Also, in the Promotion section, you will find a newly conceived Banners page, for all of your web-banner-based needs (of which there are surely many). Plus, I've updated the Biography, Discography, Press, and Merchandise sections, so have a looksee at those as well. There will be more updates soon, and exciting new features on the way, so be sure to check back often. Although, if my previous track record is any indication, you'll get another update on this site sometime in the Fall of 2009. With that in mind, remember this, kiddies: Never do today what can be put off until tomorrow. Words to live by.
